A national hub for Thailand's endocrine surgery specialists — thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands and neuroendocrine tumors (NET) — advancing patient care to international standards and sharing knowledge with surgeons around the world.
Advancing academic activity and transferring endocrine-surgery knowledge and skills to surgeons in Thailand and abroad, through scientific meetings, workshops and live surgery demonstrations.
Promoting research and the presentation of academic work both nationally and internationally — especially endoscopic thyroidectomy, a field in which Thailand leads the world.
Strengthening collaboration among surgeons and healthcare professionals caring for endocrine surgical patients, and sharing accurate knowledge with the public.
Thailand is internationally recognized both for open thyroid and parathyroid surgery performed with the highest safety, and for a full range of endoscopic thyroidectomy techniques — transaxillary, axillo-breast-shoulder (ABS) and, most notably, Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy Vestibular Approach (TOETVA). TOETVA was conceived and developed in Thailand by Dr. Angkoon Anuwong, a committee member of the Society, and has become a standard technique that surgeons travel to Thailand to study.
The standard of care for thyroid nodules, goiter, thyroid cancer and hyperparathyroidism, delivered with world-class safety.

"Diseases of the endocrine glands — the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands and neuroendocrine tumors — are common conditions that require multidisciplinary care, with surgery by an experienced surgeon remaining central to treatment. The Thai Endocrine Surgeons Society was founded to unite Thailand's surgeons, advance our field, transfer modern surgical techniques, and raise patient care to international standards.
Today Thailand is not only a recipient of knowledge but a contributor — the transoral thyroidectomy technique developed by Thai surgeons is now recognized and practised worldwide. I warmly invite surgeons and physicians with an interest in this field to join our Society and help advance Thai endocrine surgery together."

Clin. Prof. Suchart Chantawibul, MD
President, Thai Endocrine Surgeons Society
Together with Rajavithi Hospital, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, Police General Hospital and Thammasat University, the Society has run the International Endoscopic Thyroidectomy Workshop in Soft Cadaver for over a decade — more than 11 editions.
Open to surgeons, physicians and healthcare professionals interested in endocrine surgical care.
